Create¶
The user can create a company or educational institution page by clicking on the "create new page" button at the top right corner of the page.
While creating a page, user can add 2 types of pages. A page for a company or an educational institution. This can be done by switching between the page-type buttons.
- The user can add the company/Educational institutions banner and logo by clicking on the respective plus button.
- When the user clicks on the plus button, they get to see options like edit and delete as shown below.
The user can click on the edit button and add any banner of their choice.
- Click the Edit option on the right corner to add/upload the banner.
- The Save button will be enabled only after we upload/add the banner, until then the Save button will be disabled.
- To remove the banner, click on the cross button on the top right-side corner or the cancel button.
- The maximum file size for the banner or the logo is up to 3MB.
- The file types supported are only JPEG/PNG for both cases.
After adding the images for both cases, the user is good to continue further (optional).
The user has to fill in the Company or Educational details. The first step would be to select the page type. The contents to be filled would differ based on the page type selected. The type “company” will be selected by default.
Create a Company Page¶
If the page type selected is a "company", then the following contents must be filled
- Organization Name – Mandatory field
- Camisens URL and Unique URL will be filled with the same name as the organization name is being typed, the user can change them by editing the Unique URL field.
- If the user enters the name that is already registered with the system, a validation message is thrown stating, the unique URL is already in use.
- The user can either edit the Unique URL to a different one or use the suggest more button which would be enabled as soon as the validation is thrown.

The suggest more button suggests similar names matching the user’s initial organization name provided. The user can select any one from them or type their unique URL to a new one.

Tagline – The user can enter the company’s tagline here (Optional field).
- Overview – The user can give an overview of their company (Optional field).
- Website (URL) – The user can add the URL of their company website page here.
- Industry – The user must provide the industry to which their company belongs, They can also select one from the auto-suggestions being shown while typing or can type the complete name themselves (Mandatory field).
- Organization Type – The user must select one of the types from the dropdown displayed to which their company relates (Mandatory field).
- Organization size – The user must select one of the options from the dropdown on the total number of workers the company holds. (Mandatory field).
- Founded year – The year when the company was established/started (Optional field).
- Headquarters – The location of the company’s main branch (Optional field).
- CEO – The name of the company’s chief executive officer (Optional field).
- Currency type and revenue – The user has to select the currency type appropriate to them and enter the company’s total revenue (Optional field).
- CIN number – The user must enter their company’s CIN number if present. A Corporate Identification Number (CIN) is a 21-digit alpha-numeric code issued to companies incorporated within the country on being registered by the ROC situated in different states across India under the MCA. Hence duplicates are not allowed (Optional field).
- GST number - The user must enter their company’s GST number if present. A GST number is a unique 15-digit number provided by the government to registered business entities. Hence duplicates are not allowed (Optional field).
- Registration Number - The user must enter their company’s CRN number. A CRN number is a unique number granted by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) during the company registration process (Mandatory field).
- Organization Registration documents – The user must provide all documents related to the company’s registration with MCA. The user can select multiple documents at a time. The maximum file size allowed including all documents would be 3 MB. The file types allowed are pdf and image (JPEG/PNG) only.
If any changes needed to be made to the uploaded documents
- The user has to clear all the documents.
- Then add the proper documents again (Mandatory field).
- By default, “This is your Parent Organization” would be checked and the textbox disabled, the user can uncheck any time if otherwise and type the parent organization name.
- Contact Details – The user must enter the organization’s contact details and email details. There is no limit on the number of phone numbers to be added and a maximum of 3 email ids can be added. After email ids are added, anyone among them must be selected, which would be considered as companies default mail id (Optional Field).
The user can edit the phone number or email id any time before the final submission or even delete them.
- Profile links – The user can add the URL of the organization’s Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter handle here (Optional field).
Create an Educational Institution Page¶
If the page type selected is an educational institution, then a few of the contents to be filled are similar to company page contents except under educational institution some fields are not considered.
Some of the fields that are not considered when it comes to an educational institution are
- Organization type
- CEO
- Currency and revenue
- CIN
- GST
"Board or university" is a field that would be present in the education institution create page and not present if the company page type is selected.
Cancel and Create Page Buttons¶
- Create page - This will save the data entered and take them to the organization’s profile page that they had just created.
- Cancel button - an alert message is shown saying unsaved changes are present. When they click on the leave option on the alert message, it takes the user back to “My pages”.
Review Page¶
The recently created page would be in the review state. No actions can be done while the page is in the review state. The page would be made active once the details submitted are verified by the camisen’s team.
- A preview of the data entered while creating can be seen in the "About" section of the organization’s profile page.
- In the header section we see the organization’s banner and logo along with its name, tagline, Rating of the organization, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn badges, and a verification pending badge in this state.
- The people’s section will have only the "user" in the review state and all other sections will have the "No results message" shown.
